What was needed:
This is obviously our own site for our production company, but even so we treated it like we would any other client. Our needs were specific and needed to be addressed just like any other. They were:

• a volume of new and interesting projects that we wanted to showcase in an interesting way – something that might approximate flash, but without any of the SEO and Apple product downsides.
• a variety of capabilities and types of work we can do – each highlighted in with brevity and professionalism
• the ability to add new projects as they’re completed and have them seamlessly fold into the design of the rest of the site.

What we did:
Sometimes with more complex or flashy needs, a free theme just won’t provide what’s needed. So amongst the wonderful Woo Themes we found one called BizNizz that had a very cool looking javascript-based slideshow that any Apple product would be able to view. We spent the extra cash to get the premium theme and had all the excellent options with which all Woo Themes come out of the box. From there all we really needed to do was write all the copy, use all the bells and whistles which come with BizNizz – such as the Portfolio, Slides and Mini-Features – and then tweaked all the colors and some of the spacing and we were good to go.
